Vehicles in Germany's City Found Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Police stated they were contacted by a resident who discovered a automobile in Hanau smeared with reddish fluid

Approximately 50 automobiles have been marked with what seems to be human blood in the Germany's city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postal boxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement say they were notified late on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish substance.

The fluid had been applied in the form of a swastika, they added.

Officers then found many other marked vehicles and residential walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement report initial examinations suggest the liquid was probably blood from a person.

"There is still no clue as to its source; investigators are currently not informed of any harm in connection with the incident," they stated.

Local authorities said they were working "to solve the case" and have asked to the public for information.

An important official stated the incident rendered him stunned and required to be addressed quickly.

"This event affects the core of Hanau and revives the trauma of the right-wing attack in 2020," he wrote on online, referring to the death of nine people by a assailant aiming at residents of immigrant origin in February 2020.
